Tasting Notes
Enticing sip after sip, beautiful aromas of fresh spring flowers, lime zest, pear, and pie crust open on the nose. Full flavors of pear, Queen Anne cherry, and honey dew melon dance among tiny bubbles leading to a rounded palate and long finish. This wine is exceptional now and perfect for aging.
Vineyard Notes
We started harvesting on August 8. A cooler August allowed us the time necessary to pick the grapes at their optimum ripeness. The varieties, although low yielding, showed excellent concentration.
Food Pairing Notes
We recommend pairing it with rich double and triple cream or goat cheeses. Perfect with just a few toasted nuts, it will also enhance simple to complex meals. Oysters, poultry and even meat dishes work well and we suggest trying it with Asian cuisine.
